Kaycee Jones
Co-Founder, COO, Apolla
Kaycee Cope Jones was born and raised in American Falls, Idaho by her single mother, and entrepreneurial inspiration. Growing up a competitive dancer, Kaycee attended on a full-ride scholarship as part of the competitive dance team at Idaho State University and received her B.S. in Physical Education, Sport Science and Dance.
Upon graduation, Kaycee moved to California to earn her M.S. from California State University Fullerton in Kinesiology. While working and earning her degree, she became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She also met her husband, Grier. With her husband’s encouragement and business background and her love for sport science, dance, and the entrepreneurial spirit that had been instilled in her, she realized she wanted to teach dancers what she wishes she could have known.
As Co-Founder of Apolla and COO, Apolla has been a full-circle moment for Kaycee, bringing her years of education and training together. With her best friend Brianne Zborowski, they invented a product to help reduce dancer injuries and create a movement for wellness in an industry that is riddled with injuries. They started Apolla Performance Wear and were soon changing the game in dancer footwear, from Boston Ballet to Mia Michaels, everyone fell in love with what soon became known as life-changing compression socks. This past April, they broke the seal beyond just the dance industry and brought Apolla to anyone with feet making a deal on Shark Tank. Starting Apolla to improve dancer footwear led to creating the best compression sock ever. Now Apolla aims to develop products that help everyone do MORE of what they love, longer & stronger. Kaycee now resides in Indialantic, FL with her husband and sons, Chance and Gus.
